Osieq Privacy Policy

App purpose and health information

Osieq is a general education and entertainment app offering lessons, quizzes, and puzzle games. It is not a mental-health, medical, healthcare, therapy, counselling, diagnostic, treatment, monitoring, or crisis-support service. The current Android release does not provide mood or mental-health checkups, heart-rate measurement, breathing or relaxation programs, or psychologist or health-expert services, and it does not collect health data.

Information we collect

• Account details such as name, username, email, mobile number, password hash, and date of birth.
• Profile and delivery information, including an address and location coordinates when you choose to provide them.
• Learning activity, quiz answers, game scores, XP, coin balances, achievements, and course progress.
• User content such as community posts, exercise submissions, and profile images.
• Technical request information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
• Limited SDK diagnostics such as device and app metadata, pseudonymous SDK or installation identifiers, crash and performance information, configured translation languages, and map interactions.

Device permissions

Osieq may request location only when you choose location-based or delivery features. The current Android release does not request camera, health-sensor, or foreground-service access. You can deny or revoke optional permissions in Android settings.

Virtual coins and physical rewards

Osieq records virtual coin balances, eligible tournament results, reward redemptions, and related order information so it can operate its reward system. Blue Coins, also called Osieq Coins, are earned through eligible free-entry skill tournaments and may only be redeemed in the Osieq Market for eligible physical products, subject to stock, eligibility, verification, and delivery availability. Yellow and Green Coins are activity and game-progression units. Coins cannot be purchased with real money, sold, transferred to another user, withdrawn, exchanged for cash, or used as a stake or wager. They are not money, cryptocurrency, or an investment product.

How we use information

• Authenticate accounts and keep sessions secure.
• Provide lessons, quizzes, puzzle games, rewards, community, and delivery features.
• Calculate progress, XP, streaks, achievements, and account balances.
• Prevent abuse, investigate errors, and protect users and the service.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid user requests.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers only where needed to operate Osieq, including hosting and storage, MSG91 for email OTP delivery, Google for optional federated sign-in, Google Maps Platform for map display and location selection, Google ML Kit for on-device translation and model delivery, OpenStreetMap resources and geocoding, and Baharse for supported marketplace fulfillment. These providers process the information needed for their service. We do not sell personal data.

Retention, deletion, and choices

We retain account data while your account is active and as needed for security, fraud prevention, service operation, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data from the Android app under Profile → Privacy & Account, or through our public request page. We verify requests before processing them. Some records may be retained where legally required, and we will limit their use to that purpose.

Security and policy updates

We use access controls, encrypted network transport, and operational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change; the effective date above will be updated.
